Well worth the price!
Why did I buy this? During my research for a mini portable projector (which I'm still researching) I came across the VANKYO Leisure 510. It only had 19 reviews at the time but they were all 5 star and the stated brightness capability caught my eye. So, I placed a price watch on this projector and continued on with my mini projector research. Within only a few days the price dropped to $170. Now I already own a budget projector that was $200 new and while I have enjoyed watching it I have always yearned for a little more brightness so it would be more enjoyable to watch during the day. With the 90 day no questions asked return policy and 3 year warranty (nobody offers one this long!) I decided I had nothing to lose. If it didn't significantly outperform my current projector I could send it back. Well, I am pretty happy with this projector. It's not as bright as I would have liked but, as you can see from the pictures, I can easily watch it during the day. The picture I took of the football game was with all my blinds open next to and on the opposite wall of the screen. No problem watching this. The other picture was taken with the blinds shut. The pictures don't do justice to the actual images. They were taken with my phone using autofocus. I really wanted to demonstrate brightness more than anything. I was streaming xfinity TV though my laptop with about a 110 inch picture. Also, I setup the projector using a test pattern you can find on youtube and the settings are brighter and sharper than the Dynamic setting that is one of the presets on the projector. I've got to say I'm quite happy: brighter and sharper than my other projector. Oh, the fan is so, so quiet. I can sit right next to it and when you've got any audio going at all the fan is imperceptible. Finally, the case is quite nice, easily worth $20. I had to buy a backpack for my other projector. I hope this review helps some of you decide.

Great picture for Amazing price, great for gameday
I was a little scared buying a projector for such a cheap price but this product really blew my expectations away. This project has a great bright picture quality, the build of the actual machine is high quality and even the speakers are fairly good. You are getting more then your moneys worth buying the projector.
There are a couple problems/things to note with this project you should know before buying though. First, despite the product being advertised as a “1080p full HD resolution” the natative resolution of the projector is only 720p HD. The image is still bright and beautiful dispite the fact, and looking at it outside at a 110” display, watching football it looked as good as 1080p to me. Another thing to note is that keystone on the projector can leave the corners and bottom of the picture fuzzy and so i found it better to either line the projector up so you don’t have to keysone it or just have the sides slightly angled.
Overall this is a great product and a good pick up if you are looking for a cheap high quality projector.

$200 Projector with $700 Dollar Quality
This projector is outstanding and would strongly recommend. A friend of mine spent around $700 on a projector and it made me want to purchase one. Since $200 was my price range I started to look at this projector. The quality of this projector is the same if not better than the $700 dollar one. The sound is great and can be heard easily throughout my entire basement and the picture quality is phenomonal. There is also little to no noise coming from the projector which once you start watching something you completely forget about it. I would strongly recommend buying this projector not only because of the price but the quality as well. The photo and video compares it to a 32 inch tv.

projector
This projector is really good for the price. I already have a TV but wanted a solution for the kids and me to play games and watch movie on a big screen!

First I must say I love the glossy finish and look of the projector and It's pretty light. It even came with a customized carrying bag.

Picture quality was great for my need. I tried a SNES Mini and the quality of the image was great, did not feel lag when I was playing. I tried gaming with a PS3 in 1080p and WOW I was amaze on how the menu were crisp and It was really fun to play Twisted Metal big like that. Then I tried blue ray movies and they looked good as well! I'm really pleased for the price! My room wasn't even totally dark and the image looked nice.

Sound was good, It has an internal speaker that does the job and can get really loud. I love the fact that you just need the projector to have a complete setup with sound and image. If you want more, their is always the possibility to connect external speaker or even an amp.

Pleasantly Surprised, Great Image
Hard to believe this is a "budget" projector. The packaging and out of box experience were really well done. The bubble wrap blanket that the carrying bag, which the projector comes in, is pretty neat. The experience gets better from there.

The carrying bag is sleek and compact and has space for the project, power cables, and 3 video cables without crowding the projector of making the bag difficult to close.

The projector is easy to hookup, 2 cables (power and HDMI) and you are good to go. Image is bright, the focus and keystone controls on the lens are easily accessible and large making them easy to turn.

We watched a few movies on it at home before taking it to the office to be used as our conference room projector.

Nice job Vankyo!
